Bad news, you guys…
My little bunny friend passed away yesterday. He was a fighter, but it was his time to go. He never would have survived in the wild.
Poor little guy. Rest in peace.

I’m typing this with one hand because I’ve got a tiny bunny in the other.
Animal control called us back and said that the campus security had to deal with it (which doesn’t make sense to me but whatever). I was about to call when I realized that I should check and make sure he was still alive. He was/is. So as it turns out, one of my coworkers rescues animals all the time and he said he would take the bunny. So we took a box and went out and got him. He’s now resting in my hand, against my chest.
He is the cutest thing ever.

You guys…I was just walking back in from lunch and there were three tiny, size-of-your-fist baby bunnies on the walkway. Two of them were normal, just chillin’ in the shade. One of them was on its side in the sun and couldn’t seem to get up. I couldn’t tell if he was lame or just really dehydrated and hot. He was kicking around and trying to get himself up but he couldn’t. Me and a faculty member picked them up by the skin on their necks and brought them off the walkway and onto the grass. The two normal ones hopped away. The one laying down continued to lay down and he closed his eyes. We called an animal shelter here in town and we’re waiting on a call back, but now I don’t know if I should take this little guy inside and out of the heat while we wait. Am I meddling in bunny business? Poor little guy just looked so sad…he looked like he was trying to nurse or something. I don’t know where the mama bunny was.
Any ideas, Tumblr??
…yeah, I’m having another one today.
I saw two baby bunnies on my way to go get my Twix.
That’s how I know it was the right decision.
Mm-hmmm…
